This 100-year-old heirloom is originally from Kentucky and is famous for very sweet and fruity low acid flavor with a slight pineapple-like taste. It produces beautiful 1+lb fruits shaped like a flattened globe with bright yellow flesh and red mottled stripes running throughout it. The Pineapple tomato vines set fruit fairly early, and also ripen quickly. In mid-summer, they may seem to stop blooming, then they put on another flush of production in late summer/early fall.
